    Welcome.

    ICSM is our family.

I want to be your next President, as the strong voice for our community’s views, delivering change by developing and improving our existing structures.

  • - EXPERIENCE -

I’ve seen ICSM through many different lenses during my time here. From sports & arts, events & volunteering, to academics & peer support, I'm proud to be a part of our unique society, which has formed each of us into the people we are today.

However, we can always grow to better represent the interests of ICSM students. I will strive to do this as your President.

    ICSMSU Entertainments Chair

As Entertainments Chair, I’ve led the organisation of every event in the ICSM social calendar, including Freshers’ Fortnight and Christmas Week. Overseeing the RAG Committee allowed me to develop my managerial and leadership experience, and working with the leaders of your societies and let me build strong relationships with Faculty and within ICSM.

I've also organised events and attended meetings with the leaders of the other United Hospital universities, quickly developing a rapport and working closely with them to achieve shared goals.

    RAG Committee

In the RAG Committee I helped organise multiple club nights, themed sports nights and learnt how to be an effective team player, working in a high-pressure environment and building a strong group ethos with people I'd never met or worked with before.

    Right to Play

Simultaneously sitting on another charity committee as publicity officer strengthened my time & team management, and ensured I could boost my graphic design and communication skills.

I worked with key players in other medical schools to organise UH Curry & Sports Night, helping to shape the event through strong interaction with other university leaders.

    Light Opera

Being social secretary of a large society, I enjoyed running two socials every week, while gaining experience organising a bop, 2 tours, a black-tie dinner and club nights.

This has also helped me improve my venue communication, organisational and people management skills, as well as directing the goals of the team I was working with.

    Leadership

I've held many other leadership positions and have organised many other teams, from volunteering with the Scout Association, to captaining school music competitions, to leading rugby teams.

I've always tried to do the best for the members by listening to and acting on their feedback - I'm always willing to adapt my methods to find the best way for all of us.
